2026 Adult Women’s Course
Venture into the Wild: Encounter God’s Glory in the Wilderness
August 2-8, 2026
Step away from the noise of daily life and into the vast beauty of the Rocky Mountain’s rugged backcountry. This immersive wilderness experience invites adult Catholic women to challenge themselves, form meaningful connections, and encounter God through adventure, prayer, and creation.
Journey through alpine meadows, ascend breathtaking peaks, and move through wide-open landscapes that awaken both strength and stillness. Rooted in COR’s four pillars - beauty, community, identity, and leadership - each day offers space to reflect, pray, and grow as a woman called to live with purpose and courage.
Through shared challenges and quiet moments of awe, you’ll deepen your relationship with the Lord and rediscover the freedom, confidence, and joy He desires for you. Come laugh freely, move boldly, pray deeply, and experience the clarity that only the wilderness can offer.
This is an invitation to step into God’s creation — and into the woman He is calling you to be.

How do I get to the trip?
Once you are registered for a trip, you will receive an email at least 1-2 months prior to your trip with details regarding travel logistics. Course participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the designated location for pick-up and drop-off. For most of our courses, this location is the Denver airport, though you may also have the option to meet the group at the wilderness location or other designated location if you are driving rather than flying to the trip. Your COR instructors or a member of our support staff will pick you up in one of our program vehicles and drive you to the wilderness locations.
Do I need experience?
No prior experience with camping or any of our adventure activities is required for participation in a COR course. Our professional instructors will teach you everything you need to know to participate in each activity safely and not only survive, but thrive in each wilderness environment.
Do I need to exercise to prepare for the trip?
Although you do not need to be a superstar athlete to participate in our courses, we do encourage some basic conditioning prior to your trip, especially if you are coming from a sedentary life-style and/or lower elevations.

“As a priest, I get the beautiful privilege to accompany young people in new endeavors. COR exposes them to hardship and endurance and challenges their mind and body. Participants learn to rely on the Providence of God as they journey in beautiful creation. COR offers a beautiful program, and the instructors are patient and knowledgeable. It’s a blessing to participate in these trips, and look forward to opportunities in the future!”
