Venture Into the Wild: Discover God’s Glory in Wyoming’s Wilderness

July 18-24th, 2026

Are you ready to push your limits, make unforgettable memories, and encounter God in the heart of creation? Join fellow Catholic high schoolers for an extraordinary week in Wyoming’s rugged backcountry - where adventure and faith meet face to face.

Trek through alpine meadows, climb soaring cliffs, and experience the raw majesty of the mountains as you dive deep into COR’s four pillars: beauty, community, identity, and leadership. Each step, each challenge, and each conversation will draw you closer to God — and to the most authentic version of yourself.

Laugh hard, climb high, pray deep, and discover what you’re truly made for. This summer, the Lord is calling you into the wilderness - will you answer?

“I was able to face my fear of heights, and while I couldn't get over it completely, I was able to grow stronger and more comfortable with doing something that was a challenge. Being able to be with my closest friends in such a beautiful and remote place was a very good thing as well.”

— Kyra, Course Participant

Cost of the Trip

Total of $1,015, with a deposit of $175 due at registration and the remaining $840 due two weeks before the course.

  • How do I get to the trip?

Once you are registered for a trip, you will receive an email at least 1-2 months prior to your trip with details regarding travel logistics. Course participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the designated location for pick-up and drop-off. For most of our courses, this location is the Denver International Airport, though you may also have the option to meet the group at the wilderness location or other designated location if you are driving rather than flying to the trip. Your COR instructors or a member of our support staff will pick you up in one of our program vehicles and drive you to the wilderness locations.

    Do I need experience?

No prior experience with camping or any of our adventure activities is required for participation in a COR course. Our professional instructors will teach you everything you need to know to participate in each activity safely and not only survive, but thrive in each wilderness environment.

Do I need to exercise to prepare for the trip?

Although you do not need to be a superstar athlete to participate in our courses, we do encourage some basic conditioning prior to your trip, especially if you are coming from a sedentary life-style and/or lower elevations.

What Airport Should I fly into?

For High School open enrollment trips we will pick you up from the Denver International Airport.
