High School Trips

July 18–24, 2027

Current high school students from rising freshmen through rising seniors are invited to Join COR Expeditions for a week of backpacking in the mountains of Wyoming, including a full day of rock-climbing.

About our High School Backpacking Trips

Are you ready to push your limits, make unforgettable memories, and encounter God in the heart of creation? Join fellow Catholic high schoolers for an extraordinary week in Wyoming’s rugged backcountry - where adventure and faith meet face to face.

Trek through alpine meadows, climb soaring cliffs, and experience the raw majesty of the mountains as you dive deep into COR’s four pillars: beauty, community, identity, and leadership. Each step, each challenge, and each conversation will draw you closer to God — and to the most authentic version of yourself.

Laugh hard, climb high, pray deep, and discover what you’re truly made for. This summer, the Lord is calling you into the wilderness - will you answer?.

  • “I came home with an abundance of patience and peace, more so than any prior vacation or retreat.”

    — Michael, Course Participant

  • “As a priest, I get the beautiful privilege to accompany young people in new endeavors. COR exposes them to hardship and endurance and challenges their mind and body. Participants learn to rely on the Providence of God as they journey in beautiful creation. COR offers a beautiful program, and the instructors are patient and knowledgeable. It’s a blessing to participate in these trips, and look forward to opportunities in the future!”

    — Fr. Jack, Chaplain

  • "It has completely shifted my view on suffering and capability of it. I have since walked each day and moment knowing I can suffer much more than I think and suffer well for the sake of the Kingdom of God."

    — Basil, Course Participant
