Ryan grew up in Connecticut hiking, paddling, and wandering the green hills and quiet coastlines of New England. After six years in Syracuse, NY getting his bachelors in Advertising and masters in Documentary Photography, he pointed his wanderings towards the Lord and followed the path out to Denver, where he was a Creatio Missionary Guide for two years, and program director for one.

He followed Creatio's merge with COR and transfer to Lander out of a profound love for the pilgrim's road, the relationships forged and strengthened on it, and a desire to continue Creatio's work of mapping and walking the sacred geography of this world that Christ walked Himself. There is great beauty and wonder in this world, and man, as the beholder of the works of God, is called to respond in-kind. 

A graduate of Syracuse University, Ryan is a National Geographic published photographer and certified Wilderness First Responder.
